Happy Tuesday! 

I hope you and your family are doing well! It will be a good, busy, and warm week at St. Elizabeth!

Today, we are hosting a High School Fair for our Middle School students and their parents. This annual event involves making initial contact with neighboring high schools, so be aware that parking on campus will be a little busier than usual. The event will occur in the School Hall from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  

On Wednesday, September 24, at 6:00 pm, the PTO will host our first General PTO meeting. The gathering is for parents and guardians to receive more detailed information about upcoming fundraisers and service hour opportunities, discuss time-sensitive school issues, and hear the Principal’s Report covering school-wide initiatives and opportunities. Families attending the meeting will receive two service hours.

A family packet with the family directory and information for October will be distributed on Thursday, September 25. 

Updates/Reminders:

Ali’s Catering: The students love the new food service program. The students say the food tastes fresh and good, which is better than last year! We still have a few logistical steps to work out; please review the following items:

1. Please order no later than 6:00 pm the night before;

2. Be sure to enter your child’s name, not yours, on the order form;

3. A second emergency lunch will not be provided if you have an outstanding bill;

4. You will be called first before an emergency lunch can be given to your child, and

5. You will receive a credit if there is an error by Ali’s Catering.

Altar Server Training: Students in grades 4th through 8th who would like to be Altar Servers are invited to a training class on Saturday, October 5, at 9:00 a.m. in the Church.

Billing Reminders: Sports Fees are due on October 2 (billed on September 22), Astro Camp fees are due on October 11 (billed on September 27), Kids Club charges for August/September will be billed on September 27, and payments are due on October 15. 

I hope you enjoyed reading the “thank you” I emailed you on Sunday morning. Another opportunity to celebrate: St. Elizabeth students and their parents did a “Heal the Bay” Clean-up on Saturday. We are spreading “Spartan Pride” all over the place!
